The Office of University General Education held the SDG Forum series entitled “Grand Challenges to Sustainability: Dialogues in a Time of Pandemic” comprising of five online talks in June 2020. The series employed SDGs as a framework to explore issues like social determinants of health inequality, urban planning and community wellbeing, climate change and food security, progress and challenges of artificial intelligence, and the various ways to build a sustainable future. With scholars of CUHK and experts from various sectors guiding the way, the series attempted the following questions: What are the global challenges we face? What complex issues are involved and how are they interrelated? What must we as global citizens do?
